Great-Aunt Edna's Reward of Merit

This card was with other documents from my mother's side of the family.  It was a 'Reward of Merit.'  The back says 'Minnie' who would have been Edna's mother, and 'Edna'.  There is something written in pencil but I can't decipher it.  I'll have to get a magnifying glass to see it.

The top of the card usually reads "Reward of Merit," with the well behaved students name written below, followed by the signature of the teacher who issued the reward.
